Groom Waggin Mobile Pet Grooming committed in our Mission Statement to
setting a new standard for excellence in mobile pet grooming. In order to
accomplish this challenging commitment, we needed to have the very best grooming
vehicle available.
In the past, mobile grooming vehicles have been either "home made"
conversions of vans, step vans, busses or trailers, or they’ve been
professional conversions of a van or trailer. Either way, as a rule, the common
problem with all of these vehicles is that they’re unable to provide the level
of grooming equipment that would normally be found in the typical grooming shop.
The reasons for this run from reduced electrical power or water supply, to
simply being too small to provide the space necessary to properly groom the pet.
In fact, it’s still very typical for the mobile grooming vehicle to require an
electrical extension cord to your home, a hose line to your water supply, and to
leave you with a large puddle of dirty water in your driveway!
The Groom Waggin Mobile Grooming vehicle sets the new standard for all mobile
grooming vehicles to come! A unique design, built from the ground up by a custom
conversion company in Elkhart, Indiana, the Groom Waggin was specifically
designed to bring to the
customer every piece of state of the art equipment available in the finest, most
modern grooming shop. Take a look at these features:
Large Size: Our vehicle is built on a Ford E-350 dual rear wheel chassis.
This was chosen to accommodate the size and weight of the equipment we need to
bring to provide the highest quality groom. On this large frame we placed a 14’
by 7’ box, nearly doubling the interior square footage of grooming vehicles
converted from passenger vans!
On Board Generator: Our vehicle is powered by the largest and most powerful
RV generator available in the market. This enables us to operate all of our
equipment, from air conditioners to water heaters to hair dryers and clippers,
without ever having to run an extension cord to your home and tripping your
breakers!
On Board Water Tanks: Our vehicle contains two 50 gallon water tanks. One
tank is for fresh water, the other for "gray" water. This means no
hoses to your home, and no discharged dirty water left in your driveway. And we
have on board water heaters, so your pet is bathed in comfortable, temperature
controlled water!
Shampoo system: Our vehicle contains a residential style tub, equipped with
all of the most modern accessories available to effectively clean your pet. We
have 4 on board pumps to produce water, shampoos, and conditioners. We even have
a unique recirculating bathing system designed to gently deep-clean even the
heaviest coats and undercoats!
Drying systems: Our vehicle also contains several on board dryers. In
addition to towel drying by hand, your pet may be gently dried by vents while in
the bathing tub, quickly and safely dried by our multi-speed power dryer that
whisks the water from the coat, and fluff dried by our multi-speed floor dryer!
(Best of all, because we’re grooming your pets individually, there’s never
an assembly line environment where your pets are left in a cage to dry, like
many shops do.)
Clipper Vacuum system: Our vehicle is equipped with the latest innovation in
grooming equipment, a vacuum system that lifts the hair as it’s being clipped!
This equipment allows us to provide a more even, smooth finish to the coat and
maintain a hair-free environment inside the vehicle. And, the air flow over the
clippers keeps them cool, virtually eliminating the risk of clipper burn to even
the most sensitive pets. In addition, all of the hair from previously groomed
pets is removed long before your pet enters our grooming vehicle. Best of all
and unique to our vehicle, our system is fully adjustable. This feature allows
us to set the amount of vacuum air flow used for each coat type, whether it be
fine or curly, allowing us to give your pet the finest groom possible!
Electric Grooming Table with swivel top: Again, our vehicle sets the standard
with this innovation in mobile grooming. Older pets or larger pets no longer
need to be lifted needlessly, risking injury to their hips or joints. We can
simply lower the table allowing them to step on, then raise it to grooming
height. From the table, they also can walk across a specially designed ramp into
and out of the tub area. And finally, no more constant turning of the pet during
the grooming process. Just like the chair you sit in at the hair salon, our
swivel top table allows the pet to remain comfortably in one position while we
complete their grooming on all sides.
